  A few months ago I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. It affects the 3 nerves on the left side of my face. To say that it was painful would be like comparing Niagara Falls to a trickle of water. I went to the hospital 3 times in a week. They gave me Dilaudid Fentanyl and Percocets. None of them really helped ... I was also referred to a neurologist .... I am native American and I try to stay away from modern medicine. But I was also in so much pain that I would have tried anything and everything ... I went to my neurologist for the first time and she prescribed me Gabapentin she also told me that it would probably take 6 weeks to start working I cried she left the room without another word. That first week I must have called her five or six times she never once returned my phone call I finally ended up going back to the emergency room because I just could not stand the pain any longer the emergency room doctor told me that he was going to call my neurologist ... I told him good luck in that I hoped he would have better luck than I had had trying to communicate with her... He left for a little while and when he came back in he advised me that he would not be doing anything for me my neurologist said that I was not giving the medicine time to work and he sent me home. I have known Aaron Winston from school and from the powwow scene but I have never been a chiropractic patient. I reached out to him on Facebook and asked him if he knew anything about the disease that I had been diagnosed with he told me to come in that he could help... I almost ran the 30 miles to get to his office lol ... anyway I went in and had my first appointment and he did not adjust me that day I remember walking out of the office and thinking will I live to come back in a couple of days for my first adjustment and is this going to be the miracle that I've been looking for.... Guess what ???? It was .... Dr Aaron Winston adjusted me for the first time and I felt almost immediate relief I will not say that it was an instant fix but there definitely was a difference that I could tell that day ... my neurologist was a huge waste of time money effort and energy she did not help me at all .... I have been going to dr. Winston now for a while and he has not only helped me so much with my neuralgia but he has also helped me with some other underlying health problems that I have been having. I feel great when I leave his office. I'm not sure how I ever lived without a chiropractor before but I'm sure that I will never live without one now. One of the first things that dr. Winston told me when I started going to him was that regimental neuralgia used to be called the suicide disease... I can totally understand why. I am so thankful for not only the wonderful chiropractic care that I have received a doctor Winston's but I have learned so much about staying true to my culture and trying to stay away from modern medicine... I really NEED my adjustments !!!! If Aaron Winston tells you that he can help you do not doubt him. Thank you Dr Winston I will recommend you to everyone I know I am positive that you have changed my life and make living with this awful disease bearable
